Die Schiffe legen an der Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise Facility an, und die Hauptstraße der Stadt, die Front Street, verläuft parallel zum Strand. Der Orient Beach auf der französischen Seite hat Beachclubs und Restaurants. Die Grenze zwischen der niederländischen und der französischen Inselhälfte ist unmarkiert und frei passierbar. Die französische Seite hat das bessere Essen (französische und kreolische Küche), die niederländische mehr Nachtleben und Casinos. Auf der niederländischen Seite werden der Aruba-Florin und der US-Dollar akzeptiert. Auf der französischen Seite gilt der Euro. ## Ihr Tag in Philipsburg Zu Fuß über die Hafenstraße in die Stadt, etwa 20 Minuten.
