Die Schiffe legen an verschiedenen Terminals im Handelshafen an. Taxis vom Hafen ins Zentrum von Athen sind eine Alternative, aber der Verkehr kann dicht sein. Die Akropolis ist die Hauptattraktion: Parthenon, Erechtheion und der Tempel der Athena Nike stehen auf dem Hügel über der Stadt. Das Akropolis-Museum am Fuß zeigt die Originalskulpturen und Friese in einem modernen Glasgebäude. Das Viertel Plaka unterhalb der Akropolis hat enge Gassen, Tavernen und Souvenirläden. Die Antike Agora und der Hephaistos-Tempel sind weniger überlaufene Alternativen. Griechisches Essen in einer Taverne ist das übliche Mittagessen: gegrilltes Fleisch, Salat, Tzatziki, Brot und Hauswein. Die Währung ist der Euro. ## Ihr Tag in Piraeus Den Hafen zu Fuß verlassen.
