Der Mercado del Olivar ist der wichtigste Lebensmittelmarkt mit frischen Waren und Meeresfrüchten. Zum Baden ist die Playa de Palma ein langer Sandstrand östlich der Stadt, mit dem Bus erreichbar. Ensaïmada, ein gerolltes, mit Puderzucker bestäubtes Gebäck, ist das traditionelle mallorquinische Gebäck. Tapas und Meeresfrüchte bestimmen die Speisekarten. Die Währung ist der Euro. ## Ihr Tag in Palma de Mallorca Schiffe legen an der Estació Marítima an, etwa 4 km von der Altstadt entfernt.
