Go to [cruisello.com/de](/de) for German pages. ### Shore excursions on every cruise Each cruise page now has a shore excursions card with a tab per port day. Tours are ranked against that sailing's own arrival and all-aboard times. ### Back-to-back cruises (beta) Find trips made of two or three cruises in a row, either staying on the same ship or switching to another ship leaving from the same port a few days later. Results are capped at 28 nights and sorted cheapest first. A cabin we got the low price from might no longer be available when you are checking our site. For Royal and Celebrity we can now quickly re-check the fare with the cruise line. You no longer have to click all the way through to find out if the price is still available. ### Smarter price trend The price trend on cruise pages now looks at the last 30 days instead of all history. ### Ship videos Some ship and cruise pages now include video tours of the ship. More ships to follow. ### Search improved Type a ship and a date into [search](/search), like "Costa Serena 18 Oct 2026", and now you get the result you are actually searching for. ### Date-line cruises Cruises that cross the International Date Line now show their real days and nights, including the repeated or skipped calendar day. --- ## September 2026 ### Holland America Line added Holland America is live with euro pricing for every guest count. That made **eleven cruise lines**. Only euro for now because I have not found a reliable source for 1, 3 and 4 guest cabin pricing. For now we have chosen to not show anything if we don't know the price for all guest counts. You should know the fare ahead of time, not be surprised when the 1-person fare turns out to be 3 times higher, or that 3-person cabins are no longer available. [Browse Holland America →](/cruise-lines/holland-america-line) ### Price per night Search results now show the price per night next to the price per person, so a 7-night and a 12-night cruise are easier to compare. [Search cruises →](/cruises) ### Filter by cabin price The price filter on the [cruise listing](/cruises) now works per cabin type. Ask for "balcony under €1,500" and you get sailings where the balcony fits, not just the cheapest inside cabin. ### Solo cabins labelled properly Four cruise lines were selling solo cabins without calling them that. We now recognise and label them, and the [solo cruises](/solo-cruises) page groups solo-cabin ships by cruise line. ### Shorter share links with route previews Sharing a cruise now gives a short link, and the preview in WhatsApp, Slack or iMessage shows that cruise's actual route on a map instead of a generic image. ### New menus The header got a Tools menu (search, ship comparison, back-to-back cruises, saved cruises and price alerts), seasonal highlights in the Destinations menu, and guest and currency controls you can change from any page. ### Ship photos in comparisons The [ship comparison](/compare) table now starts with a photo of each ship, and it works properly on a phone. ### More accurate prices - Costa's European fares now match what costacruises.eu actually charges. - Norwegian placeholder fares no longer show up as fake 100% price drops. - The homepage shows at most two price drops per cruise line, so one line can't fill the list. --- ## August 2026 ### What's included in the fare We have added a section to all cruise pages, showing what is actually included in the price: tips, port taxes, drinks, wifi, speciality dining and excursions. Included, partly included, or extra. ### Flights to the ship Pick your home airport and we will automatically generate Google Flights links for the right dates, with a landing deadline preconfigured that leaves time to get from the airport to the pier. Since Google Flights is not very good at this, your mileage may vary, and you might need to fly in a day earlier. Of course, after clicking through to Google Flights, all settings can be changed. ### Book on the official site Cruise pages now link straight to the sailing on the cruise line's own website. Instead of having to select a fare and go through our /go page first, you can now check the listing on the official site with one click. ### Price alerts per guest count and currency When you track a price, you now choose the number of guests and the currency, so the alert watches the price you'd actually pay. ### Guest count on the homepage Homepage sections and price drops now follow the number of guests you picked. ### Ship photos on cruise pages The "About the ship" card on cruise pages now shows a photo of the ship. ### USD prices for Carnival Carnival fares can now be shown in US dollars as well as euros. ### Better emails Price alert and login emails got a redesign, including a proper dark mode. --- ## July 2026 ### Two more cruise lines **Costa Cruises** and **Virgin Voyages** are live, in both euros and US dollars. That made **ten cruise lines**. You can filter on it, and the new [solo cruises](/solo-cruises) page lists the best sailings for solo travellers. ### Dark mode Cruisello now has a dark theme. Switch it on from the menu in the header. ### Sailing now Cruises that are under way show a live view: today's day in the itinerary is highlighted, and the map shows where the ship is right now. ### Recently viewed, with live prices Your recently viewed cruises now show their current price, so you can see at a glance if something changed. ### New booking page The page you see before going to the cruise line was redesigned: clearer booking tips, which websites you can book from in your country, and which cruise line sites only sell to certain markets. ### Mandatory charges included Prices for MSC in the US and for Costa now include the mandatory hotel service charges, so they're comparable with lines that already include them. ### Refresh prices on more lines The "refresh price" button now also works for Costa, TUI Cruises and Princess. --- ## June 2026 ### Two new cruise lines **TUI Cruises** (Mein Schiff) and **Disney Cruise Line** are now live with full pricing. No password needed. Your account keeps your saved cruises, price alerts and recently viewed cruises in one place. ### "Since you last checked" Cruises you've looked at before now show whether the price went up or down since your last visit. ### Share a cruise Every cruise page has a share button for WhatsApp, email, social media or copying the link. ### Shore excursions Port pages now show bookable tours and excursions, ranked by traveller rating and drawn from Viator and Tripadvisor. Swipe through them in a carousel right on the port page. New "Group similar" toggle turns it off when you want every sailing listed separately. [Search cruises →](/cruises) --- ## May 2026 ### Markdown versions of every page Append `.md` to any URL to get a clean text version: no styling, just content. Handy for reading and saving, and AI agents can navigate it too. Internal links are rewritten to match. ### Better route maps Itinerary maps on cruise pages now trace real maritime routes around coastlines instead of straight lines. Powered by our own sea-routing engine. --- ## April 2026 ### Ship photo carousels Ship pages for **Norwegian Cruise Line** and **Carnival Cruise Line** now have image carousels. Swipe through photos of each ship (interiors, pools, dining, and more) right on the ship detail page. Key stats are now front and centre, dining options are split by what's included vs. specialty, and the route map sticks to the sidebar as you scroll. [View all ships →](/ships) ### New booking page When you click "book" on a cruise, you now land on a proper information page instead of being instantly redirected. It shows booking tips for that cruise line, your detected location, and lets you pick from travel agencies available in your country. ### Ship comparison pages You can now compare ships side by side. Simply click the compare icon on any ship page to add it to the comparison list. No limits on the number of ships you can compare! Sign up for the Cruisello newsletter from the footer on any page. ### Faster page loads Most pages have had a significant speed improvement. Moving away from querying the database directly and using Meilisearch instead saw improvements of 10x in some cases. --- ## March 2026 ### Princess Cruises added Princess Cruises is now live. That brings us to **six cruise lines** with full cabin-level pricing: Royal Caribbean, MSC, Norwegian, Carnival, Celebrity, and Princess. You can set a target price per person or opt into daily price updates. Works across all six cruise lines. ### Federated search The [search page](/search) now queries across cruises, ships, ports, destinations, and cruise lines simultaneously using Meilisearch. Results are grouped by type with instant results as you type. ### Multi-currency support Prices can be displayed in EUR or USD. When a cruise line only publishes fares in one currency, we convert using daily exchange rates and clearly mark the price as an estimate. ### Advanced cruise filters The [cruise listing](/cruises) now supports over 15 filter parameters: region, date range, duration, cabin type, max price, price per night, specific ships, departure/arrival/stopover ports, and trip type (roundtrip vs. one-way). All filters work via URL parameters too. --- ## January 2026 ### Cruisello launch We went live with **Royal Caribbean**, **MSC Cruises**, and **Norwegian Cruise Line**.
