10 days, one-way from Catania to Barcelona
About this cruise
10 nights, 10 ports, all from Catania on September 12, 2026. The route visits Taranto, Valletta and La Goulette (Tunis), with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean and the whole thing just flows. You wind up in Barcelona, so it's worth planning a night or two there. There's a new port every day, so you'll do your relaxing on board in the evenings rather than during dedicated sea days. 5 countries (Italy, Malta, Tunisia, France and Spain) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. You get around 9 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Costa Fascinosa holds 3,014 guests across 13 decks. It's a big ship, with plenty to keep you busy. One of the underrated parts of a longer cruise: you actually get to know people. The couple from dinner, the group at trivia, the bartender who remembers your drink. A September sailing dodges the peak crowds while the weather is still cooperating. Well timed. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
