5 nights, 2 ports, one very easy decision. This one heads out of Fort Lauderdale on November 25, 2026 and visits Nassau and Disney Castaway Cay. Sea days bookend the port visits. You settle in, see the ports, then have time to wind down before heading home. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Disney Destiny (2025) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. Good for anyone who can't take two weeks off but still wants the cruise experience. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
