Arctic Wonders & Glow – Reykjavik & Lerwick
About this cruise
11 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Hamburg on August 20, 2027 and the route takes you through Lerwick, Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri and Kirkwall at a pace where there's never any need to rush. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Geysers, glaciers, puffin colonies. Iceland is volcanic and doesn't try to hide it. Keep an eye out for Isafjordur: Deep in the Westfjords, far from everything. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. MSC Preziosa keeps you well fed. 7 places to eat, with 5 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Hamburg before boarding. It's a good city to wander. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. That's 11 nights well spent.
