Glacial Odyssey Adventure – Hubbard & Juneau
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Seward on August 27, 2027 visits Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and Vancouver. You get off in Vancouver, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Seward, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. The wildlife alone makes it worth it: whales, bears, eagles, sea otters. Bring binoculars. Don't rush through Juneau, which is known as A capital only reachable by sea or sky. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Anthem of the Seas keeps you well fed. 15 places to eat, with 7 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Seward before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. All told, 5 ports across 7 nights covers a lot.
