Ocean Discovery – Barcelona, Marseille & Savona
About this cruise
You won't run out of things to do on a trip this long, but you also won't feel like you have to do any of them. 11 nights from Barcelona on January 8, 2027, visiting Marseille, Genoa and Naples, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. You get off in Valencia, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. 5 countries (France, Italy, Tunisia, Morocco and Spain) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Costa Pacifica: 3,014 guests, 13 decks. Entertainment, dining, and enough space that it never feels cramped. 11 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. The timing adds to it: swapping cold weather for sunshine and sea air is the whole pitch for a winter cruise. 11 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
