Some of the best trips are the ones you barely had to plan. 5 nights from Miami on October 11, 2027, visiting Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) and Bimini, and you're home before the laundry piles up. Every port day is followed by a sea day, so you get time to sleep in, use the ship, and look forward to the next stop. Port to port, the water changes colour and the music changes too. That's the fun of it. Keep an eye out for Puerto Plata (Amber Cove): Dominican amber and Atlantic waves. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 13 restaurants on Valiant Lady, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 5 nights. Miami itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. That's 5 nights well spent.
