A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Seattle on May 9, 2026 visits Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan and Victoria. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Of the stops, Juneau tends to be the one people talk about: A capital only reachable by sea or sky. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Royal Princess takes the food seriously, with 11 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And May is a good time to go.
