Indigo Meridian – Puerto Plata & Basseterre
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 10-night sailing from Fort Lauderdale on February 25, 2027 visits Princess Cays, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), San Juan, Philipsburg, St. John's and Basseterre. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Fort Lauderdale, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. The route threads through 6 countries along the Caribbean coast: Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, Antigua & Barbuda and St. Kitts & Nevis. Basseterre alone is worth the trip, Volcanic peaks over a Caribbean harbour. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 13 restaurants on Enchanted Princess, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 10 nights. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Fort Lauderdale itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. Worth booking. That's the short version.
