Moorish Tide – Seville, Casablanca & Funchal
About this cruise
By November 22, 2027 you'll be ready for this. 10 nights out of Barcelona, visiting Motril, Cádiz and Casablanca, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. You wind up in Lisbon, so it's worth planning a night or two there. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. The Western Mediterranean route takes in Spain, Morocco and Portugal, 3 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. You get around 10 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Norwegian Star keeps you well fed. 13 places to eat, with 4 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. One of the underrated parts of a longer cruise: you actually get to know people. The couple from dinner, the group at trivia, the bartender who remembers your drink. Couples, small groups, or anyone who wants proper time away will find this hits the spot. A November sailing dodges the peak crowds while the weather is still cooperating. Well timed. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
