Norwegian Star arrived in 2001 as part of the Dawn class and stood out early for offering 11 restaurants at a time when most ships had two or three. She spent years on Scandinavian and Baltic routes, which suited the cool, light-filled interiors that feel naturally Nordic. A comprehensive refresh in 2022 updated the staterooms, reworked the buffet, and installed new public spaces that feel several generations younger than the ship's build date. Star has visited every major cruising region on earth, which is a resume very few ships can match.
