Ocean Discovery – Santorini, Bar & Corfu
About this cruise
Every port gets the time it deserves and the sea days in between are half the fun. This 21-night sailing leaves Piraeus (Athens) on September 19, 2027 and visits Santorini, Bar and Corfu, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 15 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The Western Mediterranean route takes in Greece, Montenegro, Italy, Spain, France and Türkiye, 6 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Ibiza, White-island energy from sunset to sunrise. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Sun Princess (2024) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Piraeus (Athens) before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
