Saffron to Solent – Mallorca, Málaga & Tangier
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 14 nights from Barcelona on November 1, 2027, visiting Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Cartagena Spain, Málaga, Tangier and Fort Lauderdale. Last stop: Fort Lauderdale. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Barcelona, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. Crossing 3 borders through the Western Mediterranean: Spain, Morocco and United States. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Of the stops, Palma de Mallorca tends to be the one people talk about: A Gothic cathedral mirrored in the harbour. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Explorer Of The Seas takes the food seriously, with 8 restaurants to choose from. 2 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And November is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
