Sun-Drenched Wake – Tenerife, Gibraltar & Barcelona
About this cruise
15 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Fort Lauderdale on February 19, 2028 and the route takes you through Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Arrecife, Gibraltar, Cartagena Spain, Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona at a pace where there's never any need to rush. You get off in Barcelona, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. You ease into this one, with a few sea days up front to find your rhythm before the 6 port calls start. The Western Mediterranean does coastal beauty and good eating in equal measure. Don't rush through Cartagena Spain, which is known as Roman ruins beneath a Spanish sun. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Sun Princess launched in 2024, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. A February sailing is basically an excuse to chase the sun for a week or two. All told, 6 ports across 15 nights covers a lot.
