Totem & Talon – Ketchikan, Juneau & Skagway
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on August 12, 2026 visits Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier and Whittier. Last stop: Whittier. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Of the stops, Skagway tends to be the one people talk about: Gold Rush spirit in a fjord-locked town. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Coral Princess takes the food seriously, with 11 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Long enough that you stop checking your phone. Short enough that you're not bored. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
