About Voyager Of The Seas

Voyager of the Seas changed the cruise industry when she launched in 1999. At 137,300 GT she was the largest cruise ship ever built, and she housed Royal Promenade, a 120-metre indoor street of shops, cafes, and bars under a curved glass ceiling. The ice rink in the lower decks was the first permanent rink at sea, staging shows twice daily. A rock-climbing wall and in-line skating track rounded out a ship that made land-based resort operators sit up and pay attention. After refurbishment she now serves Australia with the same spirit she launched with.
