Mediterranean Discovery – Azores, Cadiz & Barcelona
About this cruise
Clear the calendar from April 14, 2026. This one's 15 nights from Miami, and the route visits Ponta Delgada, Cádiz and Motril, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. By the time you're a week in, you'll have completely stopped checking your phone. Last stop: Barcelona. It starts gently with sea days, so by the time you reach the first port you'll have explored the ship and actually feel on holiday. It's a proper Western Mediterranean tour: 3 countries, from Portugal to France. You get around 10 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Norwegian Viva joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2023. Still has that new-ship feel. Longer sailings have a different energy. People relax into it, stop rushing, and start actually talking to each other. An April departure catches that sweet window of warm-enough weather before the summer rush. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
