Mediterranean to Africa – Venice & Durban
About this cruise
Block out 26 nights from November 1, 2026 and let this sailing from Venice do its thing. The route covers Split, Heraklion and Rhodes, with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean and there's plenty of room to breathe between each stop. Disembarkation is in Durban. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Venice, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. The route threads through 9 countries along the Eastern Mediterranean coast: Croatia, Greece, Egypt, Jordan, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion and South Africa. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Rhodes, Medieval knights and Aegean light. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC Armonia has 5 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Venice itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And November is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
