Mediterranean to Baltic – Genoa & Warnemünde
About this cruise
Every port gets the time it deserves and the sea days in between are half the fun. This 11-night sailing leaves Genoa on May 6, 2027 and visits Marseille, Tarragona and A Coruña, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. Disembarkation is in Warnemünde (Rostock). Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Genoa, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. The Western Mediterranean route takes in France, Spain and Germany, 3 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Marseille, France's oldest city, salty and soulful. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC Magnifica keeps you well fed. 4 places to eat, with 3 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Genoa before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
