About this cruise

A 20-night sailing gives you something shorter trips can't: the feeling that you're not just visiting places but actually living somewhere else for a while. This one leaves Civitavecchia (Rome) on November 15, 2026 and visits Ajaccio, Marseille and Barcelona, with additional stops along the Caribbean. Disembarkation is in Fort-de-France. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Crossing 8 borders through the Caribbean: France, Spain, Sint Maarten, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Barbados, Grenada and Martinique. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Ajaccio, Napoleon's birthplace on Corsican shores. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. MSC Seaview takes the food seriously, with 6 restaurants to choose from. 2 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. There are enough performances, events, and social mixers on a cruise this length that you couldn't do them all if you tried. And that's a good problem. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
