The pace is well balanced: 1 sea days mixed in so there's no rush between stops. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. You get around 8 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Carnival Sunrise has 13 dining spots on board, most of them included. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
