Ocean Discovery – Barcelona, Malaga & Gran Canaria
About this cruise
21 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Barcelona on December 6, 2026 and the route takes you through Málaga, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Pointe-à-Pitre, with additional stops along the Caribbean at a pace where there's never any need to rush. You get off in La Romana, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The Caribbean route takes in Spain, Guadeloupe, Sint Maarten, Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis and British Virgin Islands, 8 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Don't rush through Pointe-à-Pitre, which is known as Guadeloupe's butterfly-shaped wonder. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. At 113,321 gross tons, Costa Fascinosa is big enough that you can find a quiet corner or a crowd, depending on your mood. There are enough performances, events, and social mixers on a cruise this length that you couldn't do them all if you tried. And that's a good problem. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Barcelona before boarding. It's a good city to wander. All told, 9 ports across 21 nights covers a lot.
