No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 9-night sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome) on August 16, 2028 visits Salerno, Catania and Valletta, with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean. Disembarkation is in Istanbul. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Crossing 4 borders through the Eastern Mediterranean: Italy, Malta, Greece and Türkiye. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Piraeus (Athens), The Acropolis beckons from the harbour. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious.
