Ocean Discovery – Istanbul, Kusadasi (Ephesus) & Santorini
About this cruise
By June 30, 2028 you'll be ready for this. 10 nights out of Istanbul, visiting Kusadasi, Santorini and Mykonos, with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. Last stop: Ravenna. There's a new port every day, so you'll do your relaxing on board in the evenings rather than during dedicated sea days. Crossing 5 borders through the Eastern Mediterranean: Türkiye, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and Italy. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. You get around 11 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Norwegian Viva joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2023. Still has that new-ship feel. One of the underrated parts of a longer cruise: you actually get to know people. The couple from dinner, the group at trivia, the bartender who remembers your drink. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Istanbul has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. A June departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
