Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 11-night sailing from Hamburg on May 14, 2028 visits Lerwick, Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri and Kirkwall. The pace alternates neatly: port day, sea day, port day, sea day. 5 stops with a breather between each one. Raw volcanic landscapes, whale-watching off the coast, and light that never quite goes away in summer. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights.
