Ocean Discovery – Miami, Willemstad & Oranjestad
About this cruise
Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 10-night sailing from Miami on April 5, 2028 visits Willemstad, Oranjestad, San Juan, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) and New York. You get off in New York, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. The Caribbean route takes in Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and United States, 4 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Don't rush through Willemstad, which is known as UNESCO colour against Caribbean blue. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Norwegian Luna launched in 2026, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Miami before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And April is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All told, 5 ports across 10 nights covers a lot.
