Ocean Discovery – Puerto Plata/Amber Cove, St Thomas & Tortola
About this cruise
The kind of trip that's easy to say yes to and hard to regret. 7 nights from Miami on October 14, 2028, visiting Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 4 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Crossing 4 borders through the Caribbean: Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Tortola stands out. It's BVI's mountainous sailing paradise. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Norwegian Aura (2027) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All in all, it's a solid trip.
