Ocean Discovery – Ravenna, Dubrovnik & Bar
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 10-night sailing from Ravenna on June 2, 2028 visits Dubrovnik, Bar and Piraeus (Athens), with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean. You get off in Istanbul, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Crossing 4 borders through the Eastern Mediterranean: Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Türkiye. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Don't rush through Piraeus (Athens), which is known as The Acropolis beckons from the harbour. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Viva joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2023. Still has that new-ship feel. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All told, 7 ports across 10 nights covers a lot.
