Ocean Discovery – Sitka, Juneau & Tracy Arm/Endicott Arm
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Seattle on July 1, 2028 visits Sitka, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan and Victoria. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. Victoria stands out. It's English gardens on Canada's Pacific coast. With about 7 hours at each port, you'll want a plan, or at least a shortlist. There are 18 restaurants on Norwegian Bliss, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. Seattle itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All in all, it's a solid trip.
