Ocean Discovery – St Vincent, Bridgetown & Castries
About this cruise
You won't run out of things to do on a trip this long, but you also won't feel like you have to do any of them. 14 nights from La Romana on December 10, 2027, visiting Saint Vincent Island, Bridgetown and Castries, with additional stops along the Caribbean. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. The Caribbean route takes in St. Vincent & Grenadines, Barbados, St. Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Netherlands, Antigua & Barbuda and St. Kitts & Nevis, 8 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Most ports give you about 13 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Mein Schiff 4 keeps you well fed. 11 places to eat, with 8 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. 14 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. A proper voyage for people who like to take their time and hate rushing through destinations. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
