Ocean Discovery – Whittier, Hubbard Glacier & Icy Strait Point
About this cruise
By June 26, 2028 you'll be ready for this. 7 nights out of Whittier, visiting Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Vancouver, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. You get off in Vancouver, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. Glaciers, whales, snow-capped mountains. Alaska is about as far from a beach holiday as you can get. You get around 9 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Norwegian Jade has 13 dining spots on board, most of them included. A June departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. 7 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
