Alaskan Frontier Quest – Juneau & Glacier Bay
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Seattle on July 16, 2027 visits Juneau, Glacier Bay, Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan and Victoria. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. Ketchikan alone is worth the trip, Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. With about 7 hours at each port, you'll want a plan, or at least a shortlist. There are 14 restaurants on Norwegian Joy, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. Seattle itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And July means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. Worth booking. That's the short version.
