Alaskan Wilderness – Sitka & Glaciers
About this cruise
9 nights, 6 ports, all from Seattle on June 16, 2027. The route visits Sitka, Hubbard Glacier, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria and the whole thing just flows. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. You get around 11 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Norwegian Joy takes the food seriously, with 14 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Seattle has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. A June departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. You start in Seattle and come back with stories from United States and Canada.
