Ocean Discovery – Juneau, Sitka & Tracy Arm/Endicott Arm
About this cruise
If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 7 nights from Seattle on June 23, 2028, visiting Juneau, Sitka, Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan and Victoria. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Roughly 7 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. As for the ship itself, Norwegian Joy takes the food seriously, with 14 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Seattle has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. You start in Seattle and come back with stories from United States and Canada.
