Ocean Discovery – Juneau, Skagway & Tracy Arm/Endicott Arm
About this cruise
If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 7 nights from Vancouver on July 18, 2028, visiting Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Ketchikan. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, There are 13 restaurants on Emerald Princess, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
