Ocean Discovery – Reykjavik, Isafjord & Akureyri
About this cruise
38 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Reykjavik on May 30, 2028 and the route takes you through Isafjordur, Akureyri and Seydisfjordur, with additional stops along the Baltic at a pace where there's never any need to rush. Last stop: Copenhagen. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Crossing 15 borders through the Baltic: Iceland, Faroe Islands, United Kingdom, Jamaica, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Of the stops, Southampton tends to be the one people talk about: England's gateway to the world. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Caribbean Princess takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. Timing-wise, spring usually means comfortable temperatures and lower prices than peak season. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.

Getting there: out to Reykjavik, home from Copenhagen
