Ocean Discovery – Vancouver, Ketchikan & Tracy Arm/Endicott Arm
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 9-night sailing from Vancouver on May 5, 2028 visits Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier and Seattle. You finish in Seattle. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Vancouver, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Ketchikan alone is worth the trip, Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Roughly 7 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Star Princess joined the Princess Cruises's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. Worth booking. That's the short version.
