Ocean Discovery – Buenos Aires, Montevideo & Puerto Madryn
About this cruise
15 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Buenos Aires on February 16, 2028 and the route takes you through Montevideo, Puerto Madryn and Port Stanley, with additional stops along the South America at a pace where there's never any need to rush. You get off in San Antonio, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. There's a nice rhythm here: explore a port, recover at sea, do it again. You never feel rushed or restless. Crossing 5 borders through the South America: Uruguay, Argentina, Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), Antarctica and Chile. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Don't rush through Montevideo, which is known as Mate-sipping elegance on the Río de la Plata. Around 8 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Star takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. This one's for people who really want to switch off. No half measures. Block out the calendar. A February sailing is basically an excuse to chase the sun for a week or two. All told, 8 ports across 15 nights covers a lot.

Getting there: out to Buenos Aires, home from San Antonio
This cruise does not return to Buenos Aires. It ends in San Antonio, so your flight home leaves from there.
