Ocean Discovery – Ketchikan, Juneau & Skagway
About this cruise
14 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Vancouver on August 2, 2028 and the route takes you through Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Whittier and Hubbard Glacier at a pace where there's never any need to rush. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Glaciers, whales, snow-capped mountains. Alaska is about as far from a beach holiday as you can get. Don't rush through Ketchikan, which is known as Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Island Princess has 6 dining spots on board, most of them included. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All told, 6 ports across 14 nights covers a lot.
