Island Princess entered service in 2003 as the sister to Coral Princess, sharing the same narrow-beam design built for Panama Canal transits. At 91,600 gross tons and carrying around 2,000 passengers, she's among the smallest active ships in the fleet. Island Princess is known for her long-distance world cruise deployments and exotic itineraries covering South America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific Islands. She feels noticeably different from the bigger Royal and Sphere Class ships — calmer, more laid-back, and with a loyal repeat-cruiser following.
