Expect a run of consecutive ports, 7 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Hot springs in the morning, glaciers in the afternoon. Iceland packs a lot into a small island. Don't rush through Leith (Edinburgh), which is known as Edinburgh's dockside neighbourhood of character. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Rotterdam takes the food seriously, with 12 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed.
