Golden Horizons – Valencia & Rome
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Tarragona on May 22, 2026 visits Valencia, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa and Marseille. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. It's a proper Western Mediterranean tour: 3 countries, from Spain to France. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Genoa, Columbus' birthplace, a labyrinth of caruggi. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Orchestra has 5 dining spots on board, most of them included. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
