4 nights, 3 ports, one very easy decision. This one heads out of Bari on October 23, 2027 and visits Piraeus (Athens), Izmir and Istanbul. You wind up in Istanbul, so it's worth planning a night or two there. With 3 port days and barely any sea days, it's maximum time on land. Archaeological sites, ouzo by the water, and island-hopping through the Aegean. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC Orchestra takes the food seriously, with 5 restaurants to choose from. 3 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Bari has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
