Ocean Discovery – Cagliari, Palermo & Split
About this cruise
You sail from Civitavecchia (Rome) on May 12, 2028 and spend 10 nights visiting Cagliari, Palermo and Split, with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean. It's a well-tested route and there's a reason people keep booking it. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. 3 countries (Italy, Croatia and Greece) across the Eastern Mediterranean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Celebrity Ascent launched in 2023, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. 10 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. If you've been thinking about a cruise, this 10-night sailing is a strong place to start.
