There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Disney Destiny launched in 2025, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. Good for anyone who can't take two weeks off but still wants the cruise experience. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Port Canaveral has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
