You sail from San Francisco on August 18, 2028 and spend 10 nights visiting Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Prince Rupert. It's a well-tested route and there's a reason people keep booking it. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, There are 11 restaurants on Ruby Princess, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 10 nights. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
