Ocean Discovery – La Valletta, Mykonos & Santorini
About this cruise
You won't run out of things to do on a trip this long, but you also won't feel like you have to do any of them. 11 nights from Civitavecchia (Rome) on July 24, 2028, visiting Valletta, Mykonos and Santorini, with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. 4 countries (Malta, Greece, Türkiye and Italy) across the Eastern Mediterranean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 11 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Celebrity Ascent launched in 2023, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. 11 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. You start in Civitavecchia (Rome) and come back with stories from Malta, Greece, Türkiye and Italy.
